Welcome to Yourgi! Yourgi, Inc. (“Yourgi”, “we”, “us” or “our”) offers Yourgi Connect, the software platform that helps independent pet care businesses (“Providers,” “you,” or “your”) manage their businesses. This Yourgi Connect Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices, in connection with your access to and use of Yourgi Connect and the other Services.
This Policy is incorporated into, and is part of, the Yourgi Connect Terms of Service for Providers (the “Terms”) available at yourgiconnect.com/terms. References in the Terms to the “Privacy Policy” mean this Policy. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy, such as Booking, Booking Amount, Booking Fee, Booking Widget, Deidentified Data, Hosted Profile Page, Order Form, Pet Care Services, Pet Owner, Provider Content, Services, Subscription Fee, Yourgi Channel, Yourgi Connect, Yourgi Marketplace, and Yourgi Platform, have the meanings given in the Terms.
This Policy applies to information about (a) you and, if you operate as a business, your owners, employees, and contractors whose information you provide to us; and (b) Pet Owners and other individuals whose information you submit to Yourgi Connect or that is collected through a Yourgi Channel (“Client Information”). Pet Owners’ own use of the Yourgi Platform, including the Yourgi Marketplace, is also governed by the Yourgi Privacy Policy available at yourgi.com/privacy-policy.
If you have any questions regarding this Policy, please contact us at support@yourgi.com.
By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Services. Where applicable law requires your consent, for example to collect precise geolocation, to process sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by law, or to send you marketing calls or text messages, we obtain that consent separately, at the point of collection, and you may withdraw it as described in the “Your Privacy Choices” section below. Each time you use the Services, the current version of this Policy will apply. Accordingly, when you use the Services, you should check the date of this Policy (which appears at the top) and review any changes since you last reviewed the Policy.
In this Policy, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household, and includes online identifiers, device identifiers and internet activity data. “Sensitive personal information” is the subset described in the “Sensitive Personal Information” section. “De-identified information” means information that cannot reasonably be used to infer information about, or otherwise be linked to, you, and that we maintain subject to the safeguards described in the “De-Identified and Aggregate Information” section. We collect personal information and de-identified information in the contexts described below. If you choose to share information publicly or with third-parties through our Services, please understand that we cannot control the actions of other users and third-parties who could access and collect this information.
In general, we collect information from you so that we can provide our Services, operate our business, and provide information that you request from us.
When you sign an Order Form or register for a Yourgi account, we collect contact information such as your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, postal address, account log-in credentials, the plan you select, and the other information in your Order Form.
We collect information about your business and the Pet Care Services you offer, such as service types, service areas, pricing, availability, scheduling, and cancellation policies. If you choose to provide it, we also collect information about the licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance you maintain under the Terms.
We collect the Provider Content you submit, post, or upload, including profile information, photographs, images, videos, descriptions, reviews, and testimonials, for display on your Hosted Profile Page, through the Booking Widget, and, if your plan includes it, on the Yourgi Marketplace. Content displayed publicly may identify you. As described in Section 6.2.1 of the Terms, Yourgi may use Provider Content to operate and promote the Yourgi Platform and your business, including in Yourgi’s promotional campaigns across our websites, applications, emails, and social media channels. Please do not submit content that you would not want publicly displayed or used in this manner.
We collect Client Information that you enter or import, or that Pet Owners submit through a Yourgi Channel, such as Pet Owner names and contact information, service addresses and access instructions, information about pets (including health and care information), Booking details, invoices and payment status, messages, and reviews. Please do not submit Client Information that you do not have the right to share (see “Your Responsibilities”).
The Subscription Fee is charged to the payment method on file in the Yourgi Platform and is processed by our third-party payment processor. We never have access to your full payment card details; however, we receive limited information about your payment method and transactions. To collect Booking Amounts from Pet Owners and remit payouts to you, we and our payment processors collect your payout account details and, where required for tax reporting, your taxpayer identification number (which may be your Social Security number). We also keep records of Booking Amounts, Booking Fees, refunds, reversals, and amounts recovered from payouts, as described in Section 5 of the Terms.
We may collect the following categories of sensitive personal information:
We collect information when you communicate with us. The specific types of information we collect will depend on the forum in which you communicate with us. For example, if you send us an email, we will collect your email address and the content of your email. You may also participate in surveys and questionnaires, in which case, we collect any information that you provide to us in response.
With your permission, or if your device’s location settings are enabled to allow our app to collect this data, the Services may collect your geolocation data. This information may include your precise geolocation data, meaning data derived from a device and that is used to locate you within a radius of 1,850 feet or less.
If you refer a friend to us, you may provide contact information of your friend. Please do not share any information with us that you do not have permission to share. If you were referred to us by a friend, we may alert your friend that you have created a Yourgi account or used our Services.
You may provide us feedback and user research responses in connection with your use of the Services. Please note that this information may be collected and analyzed by third-parties on our behalf.
We may receive information about you, your business, your clients, and your use of the Services from third parties, including:
As with most apps and websites, when you use our Services we automatically receive and collect information from your device. This information includes the following:
When you embed the Booking Widget on your website or share your Hosted Profile Page, we, and, where enabled, our analytics and advertising partners, may collect information from visitors who view or interact with them, using the technologies described in this section. You are responsible for describing this collection in your own website privacy notice and for obtaining any consent that applicable law requires from visitors to your website.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your device’s hard drive through your web browser to help us identify you when you come to our Website. You have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies you may be unable to use those aspects of our Website that requires registration in order to participate. You can learn more about cookies and how they work at www.allaboutcookies.org. You can always disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so, however, may disable certain features on our Website. You can opt-out from third party cookies that are used for advertising purposes on the NAI website at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/.
We may use third parties, such as Google Analytics or other analytics providers, to analyze traffic to our Website. Google Analytics does not create individual profiles for visitors and only collects aggregate data. To disable Google Analytics, please download the browser add-on for the deactivation of Google Analytics provided by Google at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. To learn more about privacy and Google Analytics, please consult the Google Analytics overview provided by Google at http://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/privacyoverview.html. You may find additional information about Google Analytics at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You have the option to opt out of Google’s use of cookies by changing your settings through Google Ad Settings via the Google advertising opt-out page.
We may also use cookies, pixels, beacons, or other web tracking technologies to track the amount of time spent on our Website or social media and whether or not certain content, such as a video was viewed. We may work with a third party to collect and process this information for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy.
Our website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, because no common standard for those signals has been adopted. We do, however, treat opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as valid requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device from which the signal is sent, and, where you are logged in, for the associated account.
We may also participate in interest-based advertising. This means that you may see advertising on our Website tailored to how you browse, or you may see advertising for Yourgi on other websites based on your browsing behavior across websites. Some websites where we may advertise belong to ad networks that use your web browsing history to choose which ads to display on their network websites; these ads include advertising for Yourgi and its Services. Other websites where you see our ads, such as Facebook, may use interest preferences that you have chosen on those sites, as well as registration and other information about you, to choose which ads to display to you. Some internet browsers, websites such as Facebook and mobile devices offer opt-outs for interest-based advertising. Please refer to the website that you are visiting, your browser and/or your device settings for additional information.
You can opt-out of receiving interest-based ads from third parties who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out pages on the NAI website (http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/) and DAA website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices/).
We use Meta Pixel to customize our advertising and to serve you ads on your social media based on your browsing behavior. This allows your behavior to be tracked after you have been redirected to our Website by clicking on the Facebook ad. The Meta Pixel stores a cookie on your device to enable us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We do not have access to the information collected through the Meta Pixel. However, the information collected via the Meta Pixel is also stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. The Meta Pixel also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside of Facebook. You can opt-out of displaying Facebook ads by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt-out of Facebook ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance as describe above.
We and our service providers use anonymous identifiers such as cookies and other technologies to collect and store certain types of information (such as click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over, hardware/software information, cookie and session ID) whenever you interact with us or third-parties that use our Services.
We also allow third-party companies (such as Google) to place tags on our digital properties once approved through our tagging process. The tags may collect information from your interactions on our Website. Our Policy does not cover these third-party companies. Please contact these third-party companies for more information about their privacy practices and your choices regarding the tags and the information collected by the tags.
We may use session replay technologies on our Website or other digital properties. Session replay is the reproduction of a user’s interactions on a website or web application exactly or as close as possible to how the user actually experienced it. These technologies store users’ digital interactions on websites and apps down to the individual clicks, taps, scrolls, mouse movements, etc. to create a DVR-like reproduction of those experiences. We use these technologies for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to, user support, debugging errors, optimization, and analysis.
In general, we use personal information that we collect from you to provide our Services, operate our business, and provide information that you request from us. This includes the following uses and purposes:
We may use automated tools in operating the Services, including to match Pet Owners with Pet Care Providers, to suggest alternatives when a Provider becomes unavailable, to generate suggested text for Provider profiles at your request, to detect fraud and abuse, and to support eligibility and trust-and-safety decisions. Where we use automated decision-making technology to make a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you, we will provide notice before doing so, offer you the ability to opt out where required, allow you to request information about how the technology was used, and provide human review where required by applicable law.
Like most companies, we share information in certain circumstances with third parties through operation of our Services and our business. Below we explain when that happens.
Your Hosted Profile Page, your Booking Widget, and, if applicable, your Yourgi Marketplace listing are visible to Pet Owners and the public, and may include your business name, contact details, services, pricing, availability, Provider Content, and reviews. When a Pet Owner requests or makes a Booking, we share the relevant Booking details and your contact information with that Pet Owner. We never share your sensitive personal information with Pet Owners.
When you enable a Yourgi Channel operated by a third party, such as Reserve with Google, or connect a third-party service to Yourgi Connect, we share the information needed to make that channel or service work, such as your business profile, services, availability, and Booking information. Those third parties handle that information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We use third parties to assist us with operating our business and providing our Services, such as our technology vendors that help us maintain our Services, partners that assist us with our marketing and communication, and service providers that help us to prevent and detect fraud. These service providers will have access to your information in order to provide their services to us.
We share identifiers, internet activity information, and inferences with advertising partners and platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in “Interest-Based Advertising and Meta Pixel” and “Your Privacy Choices.”
We may share information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Yourgi at your direction or when we have your consent to do so.
We may share information with third party companies, organizations, governmental authorities, or individuals outside of Yourgi if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
We may share information about you as part of a merger or acquisition. If Yourgi is involved in a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation or bankruptcy, or acquisition of all or some portion of our business to another company, we may share your information with that company before and after the transaction closes. In such a case, unless permitted or otherwise directed by applicable law, your information would remain subject to the terms of the applicable privacy policy in effect at the time of such transfer.
We may de-identify or aggregate any information that we collect from or about you so that you are not identified as an individual, and use and disclose that information to third parties for our business purposes, including research, analytics, benchmarking, product development and commercial licensing. We may also provide aggregate usage information and data to third parties (or allow third parties to collect that information from you), who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our Services. However, we never disclose aggregate usage or de-identified information to a third party (or allow a third party to collect such information) in a manner that would identify you as an individual person.
When we treat information as de-identified, we (i) take reasonable measures to ensure it cannot be associated with you or your household, (ii) publicly commit to maintain and use it in de-identified form and not to attempt to reidentify it, except that we may attempt reidentification solely to test whether our de-identification measures are effective, and (iii) contractually obligate any recipient to comply with the same restrictions and to impose them on any further recipient. We do not license or disclose de-identified or aggregate information in a manner that would identify you as an individual.
Yourgi uses Client Information to provide the Services to you and to Pet Owners, and for Yourgi’s own purposes described in this Policy and in the Yourgi Privacy Policy, including communicating directly with Pet Owners as described in the Terms, improving the Services, and creating Deidentified Data.
Consistent with the Terms, you ensure that you have the necessary authority and consents to submit Client Information to Yourgi for the purposes described in this Policy. You agree to give your clients any notices that applicable law requires, including that their information will be processed by Yourgi under the Yourgi Privacy Policy, and to submit only Client Information you are permitted to share.
Pet Owners may exercise their privacy rights directly with Yourgi as described in the Yourgi Privacy Policy. If you receive a request from a Pet Owner about Client Information held in Yourgi Connect, you may direct it to support@yourgi.com. Deleting Client Information from your Yourgi Account may not delete information that Yourgi holds under its own relationship with that Pet Owner or is required to retain by law.
This Policy does not cover, and Yourgi is not responsible for, how you collect, use, or disclose Client Information outside the Services. As an independent business, you are responsible for your own privacy practices and for complying with the laws that apply to them.
We strive to provide you with choices with respect to your personal information. Also, remember, you can opt not to disclose certain information to us - but keep in mind some information may be needed to create a Yourgi account or to take advantage of some of the features.
If you have a Yourgi account, you can access and modify most of your account information directly in your Yourgi account. If you would like to modify or access additional information that is not available through your account, please contact us at support@yourgi.com. We may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we act on your request. We may reject or deny requests for certain reasons, such as when we believe a request is fraudulent, or when we are required to retain information for legal or record-keeping reasons. If you are a California resident, or a resident of another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, see “Notice to California Residents” and “Notice to Residents of Other States” for the rights available to you, the methods for submitting a request, our verification process, and our response timelines.
If you have a Yourgi account, you can delete your account directly in your Yourgi account. You may also request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@yourgi.com. Please note that in some cases we may be prohibited from deleting certain information (we will let you know in those situations), and some information may remain in our records after your deletion of such information from your account. We may use any aggregated or de-identified data derived from or incorporating your information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time by following the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any such communication. Most promotional communications will also offer recipients choices about receiving additional messages.
When you use certain features in our App, you may be asked to consent to the App’s collection of this information. We require location information, including your precise geolocation, to use certain features of our Services, so if you do not consent to this collection, you cannot use those features. If you initially consent to our collection of location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, certain features of our App will no longer function. You may also stop our collection of location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove our App from your device.
We may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.
Service messages. When you create an account or make a booking, we send you transactional and relational messages about your account and your bookings, including booking confirmations and changes, Provider communications, payment and disbursement notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages. These may be sent by SMS, email, push notification or voice call to the contact information associated with your account. If you are a Pet Care Provider, some of these messages are required to deliver the Pet Care Services you have agreed to provide; if you do not wish to receive them, you must stop offering those services.
Marketing messages. We send marketing and promotional calls and text messages, which may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, only if you have given us your prior express written consent at the point where you provided your number. That consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and you may decline it and still use the Services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop messages. You may withdraw your consent at any time, by any reasonable means. That may include: replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message; replying HELP for assistance; using the notification settings in your Yourgi account or the App; clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email; calling us at +1 (888) 887-3875; or emailing privacy@yourgi.com. We honor withdrawal requests within ten business days of receipt. We may send a single message confirming your request and asking which messages you wish to stop; we will not send further messages of that type after a reasonable amount of time for Us to process the request.
Do-not-call registries. Where you have given prior express written consent, we may contact you at the number you provided even if it appears on the national or a state do-not-call registry. We maintain an internal do-not-call list and honor requests to be added to it.
Carriers. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
We are based in the United States, and our Services are hosted there. If you are using our Services from another country, the laws governing our collection and use of information may be different from the laws of your country. If you decide to use our Services, or share your information with us, you are agreeing to be governed by the laws of the United States, and agree to the transfer of your information to the United States. The Services are directed only to residents of the United States. We do not offer the Services to residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and this Policy does not describe rights under the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and then for the additional period required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and defend legal claims. Because the applicable period differs by category, we apply the following criteria:
We may retain de-identified or aggregate information for longer, subject to the safeguards described in “De-Identified and Aggregate Information.”
Our Services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@yourgi.com and we will investigate and delete the information as required. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to use our Services or send any information about yourself to us.
We use reasonable security measures, including measures designed to protect against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage to your information. We also take certain measures to enhance the security of our Services, however, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.
Our Services may contain links to other websites and Services operated by third parties, and may include social media features such as X, Facebook, and Instagram buttons or links. These third-party websites and services may collect information about you if you click on a link or visit those websites or services, and the social media sites may automatically record information about your browsing behavior every time you visit a website that has a social media button. Your interactions with these features and third parties are governed by the privacy policy of the third party, not by this Policy.
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Policy. It is our notice at collection and our California privacy notice under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”).
Categories of personal information we collect, our sources, and our purposes. The table below describes the categories of personal information we may have collected in the preceding twelve months, the categories of sources, the business and commercial purposes for which we collect them, and whether we disclose them for a business purpose or sell or share them.
Categories of third parties. We disclose personal information for business purposes to: Pet Care Providers and, where applicable, veterinarians involved in your booking; service providers and contractors that host, support, secure and operate the Services; payment and disbursement processors; identity verification providers and consumer reporting agencies; analytics providers; communications vendors, including SMS aggregators; professional advisors; and governmental authorities where required. We share identifiers, internet activity information and inferences with advertising partners and platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in “Your Privacy Choices.”
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Our use of advertising cookies, pixels and SDKs, including the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Google advertising tags, constitutes “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and may constitute a “sale,” under the CCPA and similar state laws. You may opt out as described in “Your Privacy Choices.” We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.
Retention. We retain each category of personal information according to the criteria in “How Long We Keep Your Information.”
Your rights. Subject to verification and to the exceptions in the CCPA, you have the right to: (i) know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it; (ii) delete personal information we have collected from you; (iii) correct inaccurate personal information; (iv) obtain a portable copy of your personal information; (v) opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; (vi) limit our use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information, where applicable; (vii) not receive discriminatory or retaliatory treatment for exercising these rights; and (viii) where applicable, opt out of and access information about our use of automated decision-making technology.
How to submit a request. Submit a request in any of these ways: (i) the request form at yourgi.com/privacy-request; (ii) email support@yourgi.com; or (iii) call +1 (888) 887-3875. To opt out of sale or sharing, use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our Website, the equivalent control in the App, or send us a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor without requiring you to submit a request.
Verification. We will ask you to provide information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information, generally the email address or phone number associated with your account, and, for requests for specific pieces of personal information, additional verification. We will not use that information for any other purpose. We will not fulfill a request we cannot verify.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will require written permission signed by you, and we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us. An agent submitting an opt-out request must provide proof of authority.
Timing. We acknowledge requests to know, delete and correct within ten business days and respond within forty-five calendar days, which we may extend by an additional forty-five days with notice to you. We act on opt-out requests within fifteen business days.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Submit those requests to privacy@yourgi.com.
Opting out of sale or sharing. We share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, you may: (i) click “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer of yourgi.com and set your preferences; (ii) use the equivalent control in the App; (iii) enable an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control in a supported browser or extension, which we treat as a valid opt-out for that browser or device and, where you are logged in, for your account; or (iv) email support@yourgi.com. Opting out through your browser applies to that browser and device only; you will need to opt out separately on each browser and device you use.
Marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, stop marketing text messages as described in “Calls and Text Messages,” and manage push notifications in your device settings.
Precise location. You can grant or withdraw permission for precise location collection in your device settings. Some features of the Services will not function without it.
We will not treat you differently, deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised these rights, except where a difference is reasonably related to the value of your data under a financial incentive program we have disclosed to you.
If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, including Texas, Colorado, Oregon, Florida, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, you may have the rights described below, subject to the exceptions in your state’s law:
Submit requests through yourgi.com/privacy-request, privacy@yourgi.com, or +1 (888) 887-3875. We respond within forty-five days and may extend that period once as your state’s law allows.
Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or by emailing support@yourgi.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal in writing within forty-five days, and if we deny it we will provide a method to contact your state attorney general.
Oregon residents may request a list of the specific third parties, or the categories of third parties, to which we have disclosed personal data. Minnesota residents may question the result of profiling and, where feasible, be informed of the reason for it. Nevada residents may submit a verified request that we not sell certain covered information.
If you are a Texas resident, the rights described above are available to you under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 541. The following notices are provided as required by Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 541.102:
NOTICE: We may sell your sensitive personal data.
Under Texas law, a "sale" includes sharing, disclosing or transferring personal data to a third party for other valuable consideration, and our use of advertising cookies, pixels and SDKs may constitute a sale on that definition. The sensitive personal data we process includes precise geolocation data, meaning data that identifies your location within a radius of 1,750 feet, and biometric data processed to identify you. We process sensitive personal data only after obtaining your consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time as described in "Your Privacy Choices."
We honor universal opt-out mechanisms, including Global Privacy Control, where your state requires it.
We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page. If we make a material change, we will provide notice before it takes effect, by email to the address associated with your account, by in-app notice, or by a prominent notice on the website.
If you have any comments, questions, concerns, complaints, or suggestions about Policy, or about our privacy practices in general, please contact us at support@yourgi.com.
